The Winchester Mystery House comes alive

Dr. Joyce Reardon is a parapsychologist hell-bent on proving the paranormal exists, and she's willing to do whatever it takes to make sure she gets her proof. She assembles a team of folks who have gifts, from telekinesis to psychokinesis, to feed Rose Red into active status.

Ending Notes

Annie uses her powers to rain stones on the house, ultimately severing control between the house and Annie. Joyce is pissed and tries to salvage her experiment. As she tries to leave, the house won’t let her. All of the house’s ghosts begin to circle her, eventually surrounding and then grabbing her, presumably killing her (last shot is Joyce’s POV as the encircled ghosts’ hands reach for her overhead.

Emery, Cathy, Rachel, Annie, and Steve make it out. Annie finishes off the house using dominoes and the house’s dollhouse doppelganger. Explosions happen, but the house is still standing.

Flashforward, the living group is back at Rose Red in memorial, laying roses. As they’re leaving, the camera pans up to floating spectres: Joyce, who’s humming “The Summer Place,” and the creepy skeletons of Ellen and Sukeena.
