Don't let anyone commit suicide in front of you.

Dr. Rose Cotter, a psychiatric resident, witnesses a patient’s shocking suicide and immediately begins experiencing increasingly disturbing events: people smiling at her in ways that feel deeply wrong. She discovers she’s been cursed, and the only way to break the chain is to commit violence yourself. She has a week to figure out how to survive.

Gore drives the score here — graphic — the camera doesn't look away. Designed to terrify from start to finish. Content warnings add some weight.
