There's a lot of blood: often from a body, but even in the elevator a la The Shining or when it's raining down on Beth and Kassie in the basement.

Gore drives the score here — extreme and unflinching. Genuinely creepy in places. Heavy content warnings for Child Death, Gore / Excessive Gore add significant weight. The bleak tone pushes it further.
