Diana is a longtime road traveler and van-fair vendor who understands The Passenger’s rules. She’s the one who warns Maddie.
Their Ending Spoiler
Diana dies trying to help Maddie and Ty.
Maddie and Ty show up, at night, to find Diana to see what they can do to stop The Passenger. Diana rallies the troops (of van people) to ride out, telling Maddie and Ty she’ll show them St. Christopher’s church. Maddie and Ty pull up alongside Diana, and that’s when The Passenger attacks, jerking Diana’s head back and stretching out her neck until her throat is exposed.
