The one movie that might be better than the movie

Not only does this movie do justice to Stephen King’s sequel to The Shining, but it so clearly pays homage to Kubrick’s big-screen version.

Even the performances of characters from Kubrick’s version are so great – not a parody, but a tribute.

It does what a good book-to-movie should do: tell the story in a succinct way. Doctor Sleep certainly does that.
