We see this soldier only on video. He’s sitting in a chair without a shirt. Lena’s husband, Kane, pulls out a knife and cuts out the surface of the soldier’s stomach to reveal moving intestines. Later, Lena’s crew finds what’s left of the soldier in an empty pool. He’s now a skeleton ripped apart by alien flora.
