Valerie Lewton is the kids’ teacher who was supposed to chaperone the France field trip. She doesn’t seem to believe Alex, and in fact, fears him.
Their Ending Spoiler
Her death is one of the more complicated ones. Her coffee mug is leaking, she drips it on her computer, which sparks a fire. The computer explodes, driving a shard of glass from the computer into her neck. She bleeds, but not before the kitchen stove starts on fire. She grabs onto a rag from the counter, pulling down a knife into her chest. Though that’s not what does it – it’s the chair that drives the knife in further.
