Dan Killian is the producer of The Running Man. He’s a manipulative egomaniac who has no problem executing people.

Their Ending Spoiler
After his host quits, Dan Killian takes the stage in an effort to save his show. The crowd turns on him, throwing Molotov cocktails (they just had these handy?), when Ben Richards walks through the smoke and points a firearm (“Fate”) at his head.
The movie transitions into the credits, freezing Ben as the gun goes off, presumably k*lling Killian.
