After Judy is taken by the military, we find her strapped into a gurney with others. She sees her assistant, Becca. They start talking but are interrupted by a scraping noise. It gets louder until we see a silhouette through the plastic sheeting. It’s Ben, a guy we met earlier. He’s bloodied, clearly sick, dragging a pitchfork.
He walks over to a bedside, stabs the patient. We see the pitchfork as it breaches the bed below, but not the gore itself. We hear the sounds and see the pitchfork’s movement, but not the impact. Zombie Ben makes his way to Becca’s bed but Judy screams to intervene. Judy freaks out as Ben gets creepy…and closer. Ben raises the pitchfork and…
He’s shot in the chest by David, who then races in with Russell. David asks Judy if she’s okay. She replies:
No, not really.
