Strangers on a plane are trying to figure out why people are dying & disappearing
If you’re reading through the actor list, it’s a stacked cast. Leslie Bibb, Jamie Chung, Ryan Kwanten, Amy Smart, that short dude from Entourage…
…but it’s hard to know what to say about the movie other than:
I’VE SEEN LOST, TOO.
If you’re looking for it, it’s not hard to detect they’re already dead. Half the plane is empty – where did all those people go? The plane makes zero noise whatsoever, not even in the cargo hold. There’s water coming through the windows, and I’m not talking condensation.
There’s supposed to be a logic to their (second) deaths: a resolution of something in life. Except…Ryan Kwanten and Amy Smart’s relationship has a resolution but they’re still there at the end. Then there’s that kid who looks like emo Glen Powell stealing a watch and getting taken – what kind of resolution is that? He’s going to hell, I guess.
There’s a weird element thrown in towards the end: the Japanese “death doll” that collects souls after people die (if you let go of what’s keeping you on earth)
And the ending: what’s the purpose of leaving the ending opening with the mean girl? We know there’s not going to be a sequel.
The movie does start out with promise. When that one guy with the box dies, and his corpse gets moved upstairs…that’s kinda creepy. But ultimately, it’s a disappointing show.
It’s not bad, but it ain’t good.

The dead guy shit is scary but it's a small part of the movie.
There are some tense moments, not gonna lie.
Some streaks on the wall is about the extent.
No real gore. And the scariest part is the dead guy in the shroud. Younger kids might have a hard time sitting through it because there's a lot of mundane chatter that's not entertaining to kids who can't sit still.
Those who want to see this rando cast act together.
You hate predictable movies.
