Laura is a foster mom. She comes highly recommended by the children’s case worker, but she wouldn’t have gotten my vote. There’s a kid pretty much living outside. She forces the older boy to do weird shit, and she lets her charges drink. A lot.
What gives?
Turns out she’s just looking for a vessel for her dead daughter; she’s a grieving mother.

I guess fitting she’s floating in the pool with her dead daughter’s corpse as the police descend upon her. Not very satisfying.
