Jared is a guy who exists for the sake of killing off. We know Jared is sick of Leo’s girlfriend calling him all the time.
Their Ending Spoiler
Jared is the unfortunate victim of Demon Jessica. He’s minding his own business when he reels in Jessica’s cousin—the one she scalped in Evil Dead Rise. Lures with lines still attached to them fly out of the lake to wrap around Jared and pull him in. This is when Jared’s buddy, Leo, comes back to find him screaming in the lake. Leo takes the boat out to get him, but Jared is being eaten by something under the lake. Eventually, Leo pulls him up, and it’s revealed that Jared no longer has his lower body.
