Pledge: Hidden gem?
You have to watch the whole, terrible set-up for the last 15 minutes, which payoff big-time.

I Trapped the Devil: Did you?
Did he trap the devil? Did he not? You get an answer at the very end. But the rest of the movie is you wondering if this is a prepper-gone-nuts or what.

Piercing: Silent, Artsy Dexter
A movie with a '70s vibe and some weird-ass kinky shit. Like the synopsis says, you really don't know who has the upper hand. But outside of that? It's an assault on your senses. While the impact and blood will get you, it's the sounds that made me sick to my stomach.

Gwen: Awwww, man…
Fuck, that was depressing. Honestly, I don't know what to say about it.

Horror Movie Review: The Perfection
This one's on my top-ten list.

It II: My literary heart can’t handle this shit
The problem is that I can't see It without comparing it to the book (which is in my top 5 all-time). I also have a spot-spot for the made-for-TV movie version of It. (Seth Green? Tim Curry? John Ritter? John-Boy from the Waltons?!)

Child’s Play Remake: I’m finally OK with creepy doll movies
What makes the 2019 version different than the original is that it's a doll whose love takes a murderous turn as opposed to a murderous criminal who inhabits a doll's body and sets to murder everyone (including the kid). It's a little easier for me to stomach that way.
